Project Overview & Process
Seattle Opera asked me to redesign their Upcoming Events email newsletter because they were highlighting more community events, which made the original design too long and visually cluttered. Looking at the original design, I decided to break up the events with a visual hierarchy and incorporate the image-rich brand identity.
I added a visual hierarchy by creating a main block with the opera website's grid aesthetic to highlight two events and secondary section with three additional events. Once the design was approved, I built a newsletter template in Wordfly so that the design would remain consistent in future emails.
